South Africa will be the host of the International Flight Inspection Symposium from 20 to 24 June 2022, in Durban.
The South African Civil Aviation says it is proud of this milestone and excited about the opportunities it presents to connect local companies to the global aviation sector while putting the spotlight on crucial subjects around flight safety.
The 5-day symposium will be organized for the first time in Africa.

Kaya Biz with Gugulethu Mfuphi spoke to Phindiwe Gwebu who is the Executive for Corporate Affairs for the South African Civil Aviation Authority about opportunities in the Aviation Industry.
Gwebu gave Kaya 959 listeners an understanding of the importance of the International Flight Inspection Symposium taking place in Durban, ICC.
“There’s a lot that aviation has to offer especially to members of the public, when we speak about the International Flight Inspection Symposium taking place in Durban, ICC is a conference that brings together all the different types of experts that do flight inspections.”
“The opportunities that will be highlighted at this symposium are many, it is the first time this conference will be held in African soil, this is a highly specialised field.” she said.

South African companies are offering a bursary opportunity for those who wish to join the aviation industry.
The below bursary is specifically for drone pilots and drone technicians for 5 post-graduate individuals living with a disability.
