Parenting can be a challenge. Besides showering your child with love and support, you also have to ensure that they’re disciplined and well-behaved.
Sometimes excessive love and care may spoil your kid and may lead them to think that they can do whatever they like, triggering behavioral issues and attitude problems in them.
Thomas asks on The Morning show: “As a parent, do you question where your child’s bad/toxic attitude comes from?”
A listener says it all starts at home. “It starts at home and you need to instill discipline, my kids know that. Parents also need to be careful of Peppa Pig because they cuss there. We need to watch what our kids watch I make sure they don’t watch cartoons where they use vulgar words.
“Another thing, as parents we need to spend time with our kids. The times we’re living in are different compared to when we grew up,” she shares.
What are people saying on social media:

#ThomasAndSkhumba @KayaON959 ilengulube enguPeppa Pig. In my house she is not allowed. I constantly reprimand, respect is key. Address the bad attitude same time, there is no ukuthi umntwana. They need to learn respect early and good behavior.
