The search continues for a missing crewman after a deadly fire broke out on a luxury houseboat over the weekend.
According to the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA), the fire claimed the lives of 1 passenger and 1 crew member with 1 crewman still unaccounted for.

The Shayamanzi 1 luxury houseboat caught fire on the Jozini Dam, in northern KwaZulu-Natal. The cause of the blaze still unknown and investigations are underway.
Reports indicate that a German tourist and the crew member died after jumping off the burning houseboat. Six other passengers also jumped into the dam but survived.
KZN MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (Edtea) Ravi Pillay, confirmed 9 people were on board the vessel. Four were crew members and five German tourists.
