Award-winning South African artist and performer Lvovo Derrango is mourning the loss of his mother.
The singer took to Twitter to share the sad news of his mother’s passing.
“RIP Mom. Losing you in the midst of all this is confusing and beyond bearable. Uhambe kahle mawami,” wrote Lvovo on Twitter.

The musician took to Instagram to share how much his mom meant to him.
“DEAR MAMA Thank u for being my mother a friend a pillar advisor,” wrote Lvovo.
He thanked his mom for raising him as a single parent.
“I’m the man i am today because of ur teaching u gave me everything I wanted in life raising me as a single parent thank u. U were always there for me giving me support in whatever I was doing never judged me ungifundisile ukumazi unkulunkulu nokumesaba 🙏 ungifundise ukumazi omunye umuntu nokumhlonipha noma engenalutho ngiyabonga sthandwa sami uma kungathiwa angikhethe omunye umzali i will choose u over then over again kubuhlungu but ngiyazi u watching over me everyday I can rite whole book about u but let me stop here,” he wrote.
He went on to share how much he loves her.
“I love u ntombi ka Linda use ungikhonzela kubaba nabafowethu nodadewethu no gogo nomkhulu ubatshele ngiyabathanda Hambe kahle Mama wena nkosi uyazi #yebophela.”
The funeral for his mother will be held on Sunday, 18 July in Newcastle.
