Protea Hotel Marriott in Hatfield on Burnett, is home to Africa Restaurant and Bar of Protea Hotel by Marriott, a fine dining establishment led by an experienced lover of food Head Chef Bull Mkhize.
Under Head Chef Bull Mkhize’s leadership, Protea Hotel Marriott Hatfield launched a new African cuisine-inspired menu at their newly renovated Africa Restaurant last week. The new menu includes an African-infused buffet with dishes such as mogudu, pap, and other African delicacies such as livers and chicken feet.
Top winter picks off this menu include the a three-flavoured wings and barbecue ribs. The menu also boasts a beautiful array of winter vegetables, which make for a light, fresh way to start the meal, especially when paired with Sauvignon Blanc. All great ingredients for keeping away the winter chill!
