South African actor Sthembiso “SK” Khoza was reportedly arrested last week after he allegedly physically abused his fiancée, Mandy Hlongwane.
The Sunday World reports that the actor assaulted Hlongwane “after a fierce argument at her Fourways home”.
The publication claims to have seen a police statement.
It reported that in the statement, Hlongwane alleged that “Khoza lost his cool during an argument and started beating and kicking her before dragging her on the floor”.
As a result of the assault, she sustained severe injuries to the head.
Hlongwane reportedly opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at the Douglasdale police station.
In July, Khoza, who plays ‘Shaka’ on ‘The Queen’, admitted to abusing Hlongwane.

In a since deleted Tweet, the actor revealed that Hlongwane made him aware that even though he wasn’t physically abusing her, he was hurting her with his words.
”Whenever I talk about what’s affecting me, I would not address it in a calm manner and in turn I didn’t see that I was hurting her, and in a way, I was being emotionally abusive towards her,” he wrote.
“She has made me understand that just because I don’t physically abuse her, I was doing so with my words, and I want to speak out and say that I’m sorry I didn’t address my problems and allowed them to overpower me.”
“Emotional abuse is really not good, especially because it breaks the other person in a serious way,” he wrote.
