The campaign has attracted a lot of attention, both positive and negative. Following the release of the campaign, Busiswa says she expected a backlash of negative comments body-shaming her.
“People are body shaming everyone, from Beyonce to Bonang, so why wouldn’t they body shame Busiswa. I was very ready. People are body shaming us already with our clothes on. I knew the lingerie campaign would come with a lot of body-shammers.”
