Episode 4 – Food and storytelling
Storytelling through the prism of food is ubiquitous. From the B-grade reality television shows to cutting-edge specials such as Parts Unknown, food has never been broadcasted like it is right now. Food has become a gateway to topics such as migration, history and a slew of other cultural issues.
This episode looks at the theatre behind food through the voice of Chefs, Lesego Semenya and Mokgadi Itsweng. Both give a first-person account of what it means to tell stories via the prism of food.
