South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha just landed a big magazine cover.
The ‘Coming 2 America’ star is the latest cover star for Hello Beautiful.
She features in the American publication’s ‘Self-Care’ issue.
Nomzamo talks about the sheroes she admires and supporting black women.
“All the Black women that just continue to break those glass ceilings, that continue to collaborate across and collaborate up and down as well, are my inspiration,” she was quoted as saying.
“So honoured to grace the cover of @hellobeautiful … Watching my life unfold before my eyes is a thing of magic, truly,” she wrote on Instagram.
Self-care secrets
Nomzamo shared some of her self-care secrets with Hello Beautiful. She told the magazine that she never goes to bed with make-up on.
“Removing makeup is a must, even though I can forget at times. Exfoliating regularly and, of course, hydrating is important.
“I don’t dry off after showering. I air dry to lock-in moisture,” she said.
The 30-year-old added that staying positive is an important part of her self-care routine, especially in the social media age.

The Hollywood Reporter named her ‘The Next Big Thing’, while Harper’s BAZAAR interviewed the actress for an ‘One The Rise’ feature.
“Deep Gratitude to these incredible publications that have shined a light my way over the weekend. There’s definitely way more and I’ll do my best to update you all on this light,” Nomzamo said about all the attention she was getting in the US.
Critics have praised her role as royal groomer Mirembe in ‘Coming 2 America’ alongside Eddie Murphy and Jermaine Fowler.
During an interview with Trevor Noah on ‘The Daily Show’, she said that the experience has been surreal.
“It is crazy. Honestly, it’s been an out-of-body experience for the longest time… it’s been an amazing journey,” she said.
