The world’s first-ever ‘artificial womb factory’ is set to carry a baby to full term in a birth pod.
A biotechnologist in Germany is developing the first artificial womb facility sett to allow parents to choose their child’s characteristics like food from a menu.
According to EctoLife the innovation results from more than 50 years of inventive scientific research and can create 30,000 offspring per year.
In a video shared online the makers of the pods say that the “EctoLife artificial womb is designed to alleviate human suffering and reduce the chances of C-sections.”
