Noxolo Khumalo, 26, died this past weekend after her car plunged into a collapsed bridge in Ntuzuma, KZN.
The 26-year-old died after she unknowingly plunged down a cliff where the road had been washed away by floods a year ago and never repaired.
According to IOL, authorities “failed to put up barriers and signs warning motorists of the impending danger.”
Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, Noxolo’s father revealed that they “waited the whole day” to get help from authorities until members of the EFF and their chairman offered assistance
Noxolo Khumalo was a teacher in Johannesburg. She had been living in the city for over three years. She leaves behind her 6-year-old daughter.
