The Democratic Alliance (DA) has released a documentary on ANC cadre deployment being the root cause of corruption in the country.
In the 25-minute doccie, members of the DA, speak about how the ANC influenced the appointments of senior public servants, and judges.
The DA says this is how the ANC orchestrated State Capture, extracted public resources and continues to evade responsibility.
“Cadre deployment is a policy of the ANC, that seeks to achieve one thing, which is to take ANC-aligned comrades or party members and employ them in strategic institutions. A cadre deployment model is structured based on know-who not know-how.”
According to the DA, key positions were filled by ANC members not because they have the ability to do the job, nor because they’re qualified or the right person for the job. But for the sole purpose of feeding into the network of criminality the DA says, the ANC is good at.
DA Federal Council Chairperson, Helen Zille shares in the documentary, that this has been going on since the ANC took power.
“The plan is to control all institutions of state, all boards of parastatals and then extend its tentacles into the private sector. The aim of cadre deployment is to override the constitutional separation between party and state. The very important principle written into our constitution.”

Controlling everything from the National Prosecuting Authority, to the Independent Electoral Commission means the ANC led government will secure the narrative which will always see the party in a favourable position.
The DA says the ANC has never made cadre deployment a secret and there was even a transcript detailing what the plan entailed from the start of democracy in SA, from as early as 1994.
