Mamelodi Sundowns closed off an unforgettable season by securing a treble when they lifted the DStv Premiership title on Tuesday, 31 May.
The “Brazilians” finished on 65 points after 30-games, with 19 wins, 8 draws and only 3 losses. It’s their 5th consecutive title win and they’ve set a new precedent as the only team to score more than 50 points since 1996/97.
To celebrate their impressive run this season, Sundowns will be holding their victory parade through the streets of Pretoria on Wednesday, 01 June.
The parade kicked off at 06h30 this morning and will end at 16h00.
Players and supporters will be transported around in two buses which are expected to visit schools, community halls, malls and colleges.
They will spend a few minutes at each place before proceeding to the next destination. According to Arrive Alive, these are the areas that will form part of the Sundowns victory parade:

• Mamelodi West
* Mamelodi far East
• Eersterust
• Silverton
• Hatfield
• Lotus Gardens
• Saulsville
• Atteridgeville
• Soshanguve
• Mabopane
• Hammanskraal
• Ga-Rankuwa
• Mmakau
• Winterveld
• Pretoria CBD

The final stop for the champions will be at Church Square in the Pretoria CBD.
Tshwane Metro Police Department will have officers deployed to help escort and monitor the parade.
Motorists are urged to be patient and proceed with caution.
