First there was the myth that the key to determining how well endowed a man is lays in the size of his feet. Now, a study suggests that men with big noses have a big 4-5.
A study which was first published in 1971 has sparked enough interest for a follow up study to determine if there is in fact a link between a man’s nose and the size of his package.
Researchers from Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine, Japan examined the penis sizes of 126 male corpses between the ages of 30 to 50 years.
Various factors such as height and weight were noted too.
Researchers had to work quickly, and completed their findings within 3-days to prevent decomposition.
The accuracy of the study may be questionable due to the fact that a deceased male cannot have an erection.
Which means researchers had to manually elongate the penises of the male cadavers to get the measurements.
The maximum penis length when stretched, the stretched penile length (SPL) was recorded.
Apart from the above mentioned factors, researchers also examined the different parts of each male’s body, including his limbs and nose.
That’s when researchers discovered that men having large nasal sizes, had a big 4-5 (penis) size of around 13.4cm.
While those with smaller noses, only measured 10.4cm when stretched.
Researchers hope the results of their study will play a crucial role in explaining the growth pattern of male genitals in relation with facial features, and evaluating male sex hormone levels in babies before birth.
