A narcotics syndicate that operates in the Pretoria area has been discovered by The South African Police Service in Gauteng.
According to SAPS, the suspect of the syndicate where arrested in various locations across Pretoria.

“Police have found a drug syndicate selling illicit steroids, scheduled medicine, stimulants and other performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) to consumers online. A number of suspects have been apprehended at various locations in Pretoria. It is still an active scene,” said Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk.
South African law prohibits the illegal sale of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), primarily through the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965).
This Act regulates the registration, sale, and distribution of medicines, including anabolic steroids and other PEDs. Selling unregistered or Schedule substances, which many PEDs are, is a criminal offense.
Online sales fall under this legislation. Even if the seller is outside South Africa, if they are targeting South African consumers, they can be prosecuted.
