The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) has officially launched a new digital platform for unclaimed royalties.
In order to facilitate the process of requesting royalties, the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) has introduced a new digital platform.
SAMRO asserted that it contacted members in April 2021 to ask them to update their banking information both directly and through TransUnion.
The organization’s website also included a complete list of the members that were impacted.

The new platform, which is available through Samro’s website, is made to guarantee that royalties are paid out to members on schedule.
“We are happy to announce that this new system will streamline the payout process, which means that once members have successfully updated their banking details on the platform, their royalties will be efficiently transferred.” said Chief Operating Officer of Samro, Mpho Mofikoe.
Our new platform, which is accessible through the SAMRO website, allows you to easily check if you have unclaimed royalties.
