Police in Port Shepstone, KZN are seeking assistance from members of the public in locating suspected fraudsters Nzuzo Nkuthalo Njilo and Kwanda Ntshangase.
The two’s warrants of arrest were issued by the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 18 April 2023. Njilo and Ntshangase are alleged to have “masqueraded as salesmen who pretended to be selling a truck in May 2021.”
According to a statement from SAPS, “the unsuspecting buyer went and physically viewed the truck at a dealership in Boksburg and later paid the two a substantial amount of money.”
However, the truck was “never delivered” and since then the duo “could not be contacted and their whereabouts remain unknown.”
Police have uncovered that certain information on the sale agreement was “fraudulent” and a criminal case was duly opened.
Njilo and Ntshangase are believed to be in the vicinity of Pietermaritzburg. Officials call on anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects to contact Detective Warrant Officer Muzi Malunga on 076 9829 945 or 039-6881185.
Faith Nketsi and Nzuzo Njilo got married at an intimate wedding ceremony attended by their close friends and family in May 2022.
On March 12. 2023 City Press reported that Nketsi had moved out of her marital home with her daughter and checked herself into a hotel because Nzuzo’s “financial difficulties and allegations of fraud” were too much for her to deal with.
