Nhlanhla “Lux” Dlamini, the head of Operation Dudula, has been granted R1,500 bail.
Dlamini appeared in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on charges of housebreaking, theft and defeating the ends of justice after Victor Ramerafe laid a criminal complaint following a raid on his home by the vigilante group.

Earlier, a big gathering of his supporters rallied outside court over what they felt was his arbitrary arrest.

Dudula members allegedly raided Ramorafe’s home and assaulted him after suspecting him of being a drug dealer, according to Ramorafe.
