Police have video evidence of the five gunmen thought to be responsible for the Soweto bar shooting, according to Gauteng community safety MEC Faith Mazibuko.
According to Tshisa Live police minister Bheki Cele said a vehicle that was allegedly engaged in the incident was found in KwaZulu-Natal.
He claimed that because the investigations were sensitive, he could not at this time divulge too much information.
This comes after Mazibuko stated that 16 people had died as a result of the mass shooting at Mdlalose’s Tavern in the Nomzamo informal settlement.

Mazibuko spoke on ENCA and said “Here in Nomzamo they’ve been able to get some footage.
“Not everyone goes to sleep. Even if you try to do something there might be an eye somewhere looking at you. The footage will help the police find the gunmen.”
On Tuesday, Mazibuko went to the neighbourhood to pray with the victims’ relatives.
The families will receive aid from the provincial government and taxi groups.
According to Mazibuko, some of the victims’ remains need to be transported to KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.
The memorial service for the 16 people killed in the shooting will take place this afternoon near the tavern, at the Nomzamo informal settlement in Orlando East.
