Police have arrested a man for the triple murder of his family members who were found dead in the back of a bakkie in Rondebult.
On 02 January, the bodies of Johan, Jane & Suné Botha were found with multiple stab wounds in Elsburg, Rondebult.
The victims were mother and father, Jane and Johan, as well as their daughter Suné.
A 43-year old man, believed to be the son and brother of his murdered family has since been arrested and charged with the triple murder.
Police say the investigation continues and the suspect is expected to appear before the Germiston Magistrates Court on Thursday, 04 January.
The bodies of the deceased were discovered by concerned community members who said there was a strong smell coming from the abandoned Nissan bakkie.
It is unclear how long the Botha family members were dead, nor has the circumstances for the gruesome murders been shared.
