On August 1, Leanne Manas, a well-known news anchor, officially celebrated 2 decades of hosting flagship breakfast show “Morning Live” on SABC.
The 45-year-old broadcaster began hosting the popular news program in 2004, succeeding Michelle Garforth-Venter, the former host of “Top Billing” and presenter.
Manas then partnered with Vuyo Mbuli, who passed away in 2013. The two news anchors were ingrained in South African society, with many houses using “Morning Live” to kick off the morning.
