Home Affairs says its system is back online.
According to the Department of Home Affairs, citizens and other clients can once again access its system and use its services.
A technical issue with the State Information Technology Agency’s (SITA) mainframe impacted the department’s ability to access the National Population Register (NPR).
The department said in a statement on Thursday afternoon that services were operational and the system had been back online since noon.
