On Tuesday, December 17, the province is expected to be hit by destructive storms, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
The storm is expected to have the greatest impact on large portions of the province, affecting many regions. The district municipalities of Amajuba, uThukela, uMkhanyakude, Zululand, uMzinyathi, and iLembe are among them.
The weather service frequently alerts locals to hazardous weather conditions because summer storms are nothing new to the province.
SAWS issued a warning for severe thunderstorms and hail in certain areas of the province on November 16. Furthermore, rainfall is expected from Tuesday, 17 December, until Thursday, 19 December.
