Chinese scientists clone three “super cow” calves capable of producing 50% more milk.
Three “super cow” calves that, when fully grown, will be able to produce 50% more milk than the typical American cow, according to Chinese scientists, have reportedly been successfully cloned.
The Northwest University of Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology in Shaanxi, China, started the cloning experiment last year.
Researchers collected tissue samples from cows all throughout China and created embryos inside surrogate cows using the somatic cell nuclear transfer technique.

According to the Global Times, the calves were delivered in Lingwu City last month in good health.
According to the Global Times, the first calf was born weighing 54 kg and measuring 0.74 m in height.
The experts informed the state-owned media source that the calves resemble the cows from whom they were bred in terms of structure and skin pattern.
