Charlize Theron has heeded the call to assist with aid following the devastating floods that have ravaged KwaZulu-Natal.
Theron, who was born in South Africa, is using her philanthropic foundation to help flood victims in KwaZulu-Natal.
Theron announced on Tuesday morning (19 April) that her organization, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, had begun a KZN flood relief appeal.
The Hollywood actor, who was born in Benoni, appealed to people all over the world to contribute to the cause.

Theron shared a post to her 6,8 million followers on Instagram, pleading for help for the displaced communities.
She wrote ” My home of South Africa is going through an extraordinarily difficult time, and while I know much of the world is in pain right now, and a lot is being asked of us as global citizens, I’m hoping you’ll find it in your heart to help.”
