Motorists in East London had to abandon and flee their vehicles after a burning bus crashed into oncoming traffic on Friday, 16 September.
As emergency services work to clear the wreckage, motorists are urged to avoid using Commercial Road, East London.
The bus had initially caught fire whilst being stationary further up the road near a warehouse.
Within minutes, fire engulfed the bus causing the windows and tyres to burst.
After a loud bang was heard, the burning bus began rolling down the road into oncoming traffic.
The bus had ploughed into at least 6 other vehicles, and one SUV was also set alight.
There are no reports of any casualties or injuries yet, and officials say the bus was unoccupied before it caught fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this point but an investigation will be done.
