- The 25-year-old Mozambican national was detained in Primrose, while the first accused remains behind bars on charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy.

There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel in the brutal murder of Warrick “Warras” Stock, following the arrest of another suspect.
The 25-year-old Mozambican national was arrested at the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose on Friday evening, 30 January 2026.
The first suspect arrested in the matter, Victor Mthethowakhe Majola, had his bail application denied on 26 January 2026 and is due back in court on 11 February 2026.
The 44-year-old Majola is facing charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
Stock was fatally shot on 16 December 2024 outside Zambezi House in Johannesburg’s CBD.
His killing is believed to be linked to his work in the private security sector and his involvement in reclaiming hijacked buildings in the inner city.
