It is all systems go says the National Assembly on the final preparation for the State of the Nation Address.
This year will mark the second time that the address happens in the Cape Town City Hall.
It is a result of the National Assembly building that remains damaged one year after a fire broke out and left most of the building destroyed.
Security measures were put in place at the Hall that is declared Parliament.
The EFF raised concerns about the seating arrangements on the day of the State of the Nation Address.
The Secretary of the National Assembly, Masibulele Xaso says the opposition party hopes to have a seating allocation that is closer to the front row.
However, this year’s seating arrangements will be different compared to previous meetings at the City Hall because it is a joint sitting.
