South African hip hop artist Nadia Nakai has been busy working on a hot new collaboration with American powerhouse Vic Mensa. The duo were recently in Ghana finalising the music video shoot for their soon-to-be released sizzler.
Nakai let fans in on the partnership when she posted a video on her Instagram tagging Vic Mensa.
“When you in his country, you know exactly what had to happen! All it takes is a little PRACTICE. Wait on it… it’s gonna be Fyre,” she captioned the post.
The award-winning artist is careful about her collabs, let’s not forget her reluctance to join forces with AKA. She was candid in an Instagram Live interview last year with Da L.E.S, who is AKA’s close friend, when she said she didn’t think anything positive would come from the collab.
It wasn’t personal, but she factored in that most of her fans were also loyal Cassper Nyovest fans and a Nakai-AKA collab would not have gone down well with them.
Taking to Instagram, Nadia gave followers sneak behind-the-scenes insight into her music video looks for the single “Practice” and judging by the snaps, it’s going to be flames.
She’s in demand of late, with all her endorsements, awards and her talk show, ‘The Exposed Room’ on Channel O.
There’s no confirmed release for the Vic Mensa track but we’re expecting it to bring the heat when it drops.
