Amapiano heavyweight Young Stunna has confirmed the highly awaited release of his new album, Busisiwe, has been postponed until early next year, disappointing some fans but earning praise for his candid transparency.
The hitmaker, announced the delay via Instagram Stories, citing a need for “all the peace” to complete the project, alongside a desire to step back from the year’s industry “drama” and allow “other kids [to] shine.”
Busisiwe had been expected to drop before the end of this year. However, Young Stunna clarified that “next year means beginning of the year, Jan–May.”

The musician’s decision reflects a growing trend of artists prioritising artistic integrity and mental well-being over hurried releases.
While some supporters expressed disappointment, many others appreciated his honesty and commitment to delivering a polished project at the right time.
Despite the delay, Young Stunna offered a silver lining, teasing the possible release of a single from Busisiwe before the end of the year, a move that is expected to keep his loyal fanbase engaged throughout the festive season.
