US rapper Da Baby’s concert moves from FNB to Newtown with a new date
The highly anticipated Empower Africa concert in South Africa, which was originally planned for September 30 at FNB Stadium, will now take place in New Town, the legendary setting for the yearly ‘Back To the City’ event.
On November 18, international Hip-Hop musician Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, known professionally as DaBaby, will rock Mary Fitzgerald Square.
In November, up-and-coming performers of hip-hop, afrobeat, and amapiano may perform onstage with Grammy-nominated performers.
Event organizers had said that the concert aims to create a platform for the top 5 upcoming artists to showcase their talents.

Future stars can apply online by uploading a 2-minute video of themselves performing their favorite song.
