US Rapper Da Baby announces a tour to South Africa.
The American rapper DaBaby will visit South Africa on September 30, 2023.
The “Next-Gen Empower Africa Concert” will feature the international superstar at the FNB stadium.
Rapper DaBaby, originally known as Baby Jesus, gained notoriety after releasing multiple mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, and thanks to his 2019 debut album Baby on Baby, which featured the top ten single “Suge” on the Billboard Hot 100.

He is one of the biggest new age Hip hop artists in the United States and has gained a significant following with young people in South Africa.
According to Slikour on Life, the concert will offer a platform for upcoming South African artists, who will be sharing the stage with the US star.
“This concert aims at creating a platform for top 5 upcoming artists to showcase their talents and compete against each to gaining an opportunity to share the stage with the international superstar, DaBaby.”
“The music genres for the competition is Hip-hop, Afrobeats and Amapiano. Talents are to submit a two minute video performing a song they have compiled. This event will have upcoming events prior to the actual concert.”
