Singer/songwriter Letoya Makhene is thrilled to announce her return to music, her first love.
She recently shared a photo of herself recording music at Universal Music Studios, hinting at her exciting news.
“I am proud to announce that I have returned to my first love. My official signing ceremony will take place at an exclusive location in the presence of a few hand-picked media, where all will be revealed,” she said.
Additionally, Makhene extended gratitude to everyone who has shown her unwavering support.
“To those who have believed in me, thank you so much for your unwavering love and support. I see you. All I can say for now is take control, own your power and never let the devil have the last say. Camagu”
This comes after reports that Makhene has split from her partner Lebo.
“I’ve concluded it’s time to move on and pick up the pieces of what’s left to try to live the most joyful and satisfied life imaginable,” Lebo said in a statement shared with TshisaLIVE.
“Her marriage ended in a toxic relationship. For the sake of their mental health, livelihood and the wellbeing of their children, Lebo has taken a decision to dissolve the marriage. She made this decision graciously and with gratitude for the time they spent together.
“Both families have been notified and agree and support their decision to end their relationship. It was a difficult decision to make and more heartbreaking to announce.”
