“I will no longer be able to perform over the next 10 days” – Tyla takes a break.
Tyla, a Grammy-winning star, is taking time off from performing to heal.
The teenage musician Tyla, who has been making waves in the music industry with her distinct voice, most recently she won awards for Best New Act and Best International Act at the BET Awards.
Aside from her viral hit “Water,” the 22-year-old phenomenon wowed the crowd with a thrilling performance of “Jump” that had a safari theme and featured a spectacular collaboration between her and Jamaican dancehall singer Skillibeng and American rapper Gunna.

Tyla has shared with her fans on her Instagram stories that she has ten days off from performances and festivals as she undergoes physical therapy.
“It saddens me to let you know I will no longer be able to perform over the next 10 days, effecting the following festivals – Roskilde, Palmesus, Open’er, Saga and Montreux Jazz. I am currently doing physical therapy and easing back into doing shows consistently,” she wrote. “Trust that I am doing everything I can to get on as many stages while Similtaneously recovering fully. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Can’t wait to see you all again soon, stay safe & healthy my Tygers,”
