
De Mthuda announces collaborative project with Da Muziqal Chef “SGUDI SYNC” EP.
The name of the EP is inspired by a nostlgic South African sitcom ‘Sgudi ‘Snaysi (It’s Good It’s Nice), which starred famed comic Joe Mafela in his breakthrough role as S’dumo, a sloppy but endearing squatter who won the hearts of many South African.
The show which was recorded from 1986 to 1993, had 78 half-hour episodes and routinely scored SABC’s highest viewing ratings, becoming South Africa’s most popular television series.
De Mthuda & Da Muziqal Chef’s full-length EP has been eagerly anticipated by Amapiano fans since the success of their hit singles “Jola” and “John Wick.”
De Mthuda, a prominent artist in the Amapiano music scene, is credited with propelling the genre to the top of the charts with his big hits like “John Wick” featuring Sir Trill and Da Muziqal Chef and “Jola” featuring Da Muziqal Chef and Sinomsolo.

The dou have announced the release date, but fan have already shown their excitement about the project.
