Beyoncé is the first Black woman to reach No. 1 on Billboard with a country song.
With her new single “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Beyoncé has officially made history by becoming the first Black woman to debut at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Billboard announced on Tuesday, February 20, that Beyoncé’s first two entries on the chart were the previously mentioned song and her other new single, “16 Carriages,” which debuted at No. 9.

The 29-time Grammy winner also recently launched her new hair care line ‘Cécred’.
After she revealed her new music in the Verizon commercial during Super Bowl LVIII, both songs were unexpectedly released on February 11.
The songs will be featured on her upcoming album Renaissance: act ii, which is scheduled for release on March 29th, she added.
