Fake vaccines
Police are warning members of the public not to fall for COVID-19 vaccine scams.
This comes after officials seized hundreds of fake COVID-19 vaccines following a global alert issued by Interpol.
Officials in Gauteng seized 400 ampoules (vials) containing the fake vaccine at a warehouse in Germiston and four people were arrested.
The Police’s Brenda Muridili says the public must be aware of syndicates operating online and in person.
