Watch Demon by Moonchild Sanelly and Sad Night Dynamite:
Last month the South African artist featured on the FIFA 22 soundtrack.
In an interview with Music Africa she said, “I knew I needed to write about this demon that was in my life at the time, a very real and dark experience I was going through. It’s great to work with people with such a different sound who are across the globe feeling the same things about someone.”
Sad Night Dynamite consists of Archie Blagden and Josh Greacen who met at school eight years ago, and started writing together shortly after that.
Moonchild Sanelly deals with her inner demons in hauntingly beautiful lyrics that are relatable.
Lyrics to Demon:
She can go down, down, take you out back
Naked in the backseat, lying out flat
Once you go down, down, won’t get away
Make you fall down, down (down, down down)
She can go down, down
Down to the dark place deep my mind
Girl, you the witch
I swear it on God that you’ll ruin my life
