All eyes are on Miss SA 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida ahead of the Miss World pageant in Peurto Rico.
Shudufhadzo is less than two days away from finding out if she will be crowned the fairest woman in the world. The 25-year-old already has the judges’ attention.
Shudufhadzo has made it to the Top 10 of the ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ round. She presented her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project at the Miss World charity gala on Monday.
Shudufhadzo received praise for her ‘Mindful Mondays’ project which focused on mental health awareness. She also released a children’s book to fight bullying.
“My heart is filled with so much gratitude as you know that the work we have done together has been the main focus and purpose of my reign as Miss South Africa and to be able to share this with people on the other side of the World has been an absolute highlight of my journey here so far,” she wrote on Instagram.
She has pledged to continue the work that has been started on her journey.

Flying South Africa’s flag high
The Miss World ceremony will be taking place on December 16. The show will be live-streamed (for $5) on the pageant’s website. South Africans can watch the ceremony at 1 AM on December 17.
South Africans are hoping Shudufhadzo will bring home the Miss World crown. Rolene Strauss was the last South African to win the pageant. She won in 2014.

The reigning Miss South Africa, Lalela Mswane, will be flying back home today after an impressive showing at the Miss Universe pageant.
She finished in third place behind Miss Paraguay and Miss India. Lalela faced a lot of criticism for her decision to attend the ceremony but she says she is glad she participated.
“I decided to choose faith over fear and follow what felt right and good to my soul and I am filled with so much appreciation and gratitude for all the love and comfort I received in support of my pursuing something extremely important to me. Ngiyabonga South Africa,” she wrote on Instagram.
