Midday Joy: Recapping the MTV VMA Awards

The 2021 MTV VMA Awards were held this Sunday 12 September at the Barclays Centre, New York, with some big winners and mindblowing performances. Midday Joy with Unathi talked about the

2021 MTV VMAs Winners and we thought we’d share some of the big wins with you.

Probably the biggest winner this year was Lil Nas X for Video of the Year on Montero (Call Me By Your Name). Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic took away the title for Best Editing on Leave the Door Open. 

Justin Bieber feat. Daniel Caesar and Giveon won Best Pop song for Peaches and the Biebs won Artist of the Year. 

Another firm Kaya 959 favourite Doja Cat won for Best Collaboration with SZA on Kiss Me More.

1.1.“Personal Information” means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and where it is applicable, identifiable, existing juristic person, including all information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013. 

1.2  Parliament assented to POPIA on 19 November 2013. The commencement date of section 1Part A of Chapter 5section 112 and section 113 was 11 April 2014. The commencement date of the other sections was 1 July 2020 (with the exception of section 110 and 114(4). The President of South Africa has proclaimed the POPI commencement date to be 1 July 2020.

 
1.3. “Processing” means the creation, generation, communication, storage, destruction of personal information as more fully defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.  

1.4. “You” or the “user” means any person who accesses and browses this website for any purpose.
