On Tuesday, King Monada went live on Facebook where he claimed foul play on Makhadzi’s side.
He says they worked on the song together and recorded it at his studio in his house.
According to Monada, the song was originally going to be released as a collaboration between the two of them, and they were going to share ownership.
However, in the live video, he says he was surprised to see the song released as Makhadzi featuring King Monada. The artist says he called Makhadzi to question her on why she made the song hers. He claims Makhadzi says she was advised to do so.

Makhadzi response
Makhadzi took to Facebook to share her side of the story.
The songstress has accused Monada of continuously mistreating her and wanting to take the credit for her hard work.
She says this is not the first time Monada has wanted to rob her of her hard work.
“All the time that I come into the studio with King Monada, I come up with the song. I come up with the melody of the song. What Monada would do is to come and add after what I did,” said the star.
She says this has been going on for years, but previously, she would let it slide because she was not yet popular.

“By that time, I didn’t have a voice or power to talk about it because people will say maybe I’m bitter, but it was not sitting well with me,” says Makhadzi.
The singer claims that she would do songs with Monada, but would be surprised to see them released without her “consent”.
She claims Monada used to treat her like a dog.
“Monada used to treat me like a dog . I used to go to his studio and skip exams because of him. He would say wait we will record tomorrow. Just because I knew what I wanted in this game, I was patient,” says the star.
But she says she will no longer allow Monada to take advantage of her talent.
“I will never allow anyone to come and use my talent like a chappies like what Monada wants to do.”
She claims that ‘Ghanama’ is her song and Monada was a featured artist.
“I came up with the idea, I wrote the song. I composed everything,” says Makhadzi.
She says she asked Monada to add his voice at the beginning of the song, but everything else was done by her.
