I don’t know about you but the Weekend Breakfast team is going to join fellow petrol lovers at Kyalami racetrack.

The adrenaline-fueled extravaganza that is taking place this weekend at the prestigious Kyalami Racetrack is a place to be, that’s if you’re not rubbing shoulders with mates from BRICS countries.

Revving engines, screeching tyres, and the smell of burning rubber fills the air, captivating motorsport enthusiasts, families, and thrill-seekers alike. From the heart-pounding action on the track to the engaging activities off it, this annual event is one of the highlights in the South African motoring calendar. As expected of this festival, it promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for all who attend.

As visitors step onto the hallowed grounds of Kyalami Racetrack, they will be welcomed by a sprawling spectacle, showcasing the latest and greatest in the world of motoring. Every corner of the festival is adorned with eye-catching displays from renowned car manufacturers, allowing attendees to feast their eyes on glamorous vehicles, concept cars, and advanced automotive technologies. The Festival of Motoring is not just about static displays and showroom glamour. With track activities taking centre stage, visitors will have the opportunity to witness and participate in spine-tingling experiences that will set hearts racing. Ignite your senses as high-performance cars tear around the circuit, driven by skilled professionals displaying awe-inspiring speed and precision.

For those who fancy getting behind the wheel themselves, exhilarating driving experiences and thrilling hot laps will be available, giving attendees the chance to feel the rush of pure speed.

The Festival of Motoring aims to be an inclusive and family-friendly event, ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, can share in the excitement together.

Engaging activities and entertainment zones have been thoughtfully curated to keep little ones entertained throughout the day. Kids can unleash their creative spirit in dedicated workshops, indulge in face painting, bounce around in inflatable castles, and experience mini racetracks created just for them.

This festival encourages family bonding through various interactive experiences.

Adults and kids can enjoy fun-filled challenges such as remote-controlled car racing, pit stop challenges, and virtual racing simulators. By experiencing the thrills as a unit, families can create lasting memories while igniting a shared passion for motoring.

The FOM offers flexible ticket options, allowing families to tailor their experience and enjoy the event at their own pace.

General admission tickets provide access to the festival grounds, while premium packages include additional benefits such as exclusive meet-and-greets with automotive experts, access to VIP lounges, and fast-track entry to selected activities.

To cater to families, discounted group packages and all-inclusive family passes are also available, ensuring that attending the festival remains an affordable and exciting outing for all.

In line with the festival’s vision, tickets for children under a certain age may be offered free of charge.

Conclusion: This year’s FOM is already in full swing and an exhilarating celebration of speed, style, and family fun. From the heart-stopping action on the track to the interactive activities for all ages, this event will leave attendees with lifelong memories.
