Joining The Hive with Bonolo Beesting is award-winning entrepreneur Kabelo Ncholo.
The author/businessman opens up about how he created his dream life with just R350.
Kabelo says he started his business being moved by discomfort. Not in his wildest imagination did he think he would be where he is today.
I was a waiter, came to Joburg to study medicine and I realized it wasn’t my career of choice. Just working as a waiter, I felt that something better could be done.
He says with confidence you are able to do anything that you want, that’s why in first-world countries people are able to make money in the creative space.
I’m running my business from the very same teachings I learned as a waiter. As a waiter, you provide a good service you get a tip, in business, you provide a good service and you get paid for it.

His recipe for success
Kabelo says the moment entrepreneurs start seeing entrepreneurship as a career then they are a step in the right direction.
We get into business to survive. The motivation for my entrepreneurship was not right – most entrepreneurs get into entrepreneurship to survive. To get some sort of recognition and that’s why you will find out that the majority of entrepreneurs even from an educational level – have not gone higher.
