A petition calling for the removal of newly sworn-in member of parliament Andile Mngxitama over controversial remarks he made during a rally over five years ago has been gaining momentum.
In the video that has gone viral, Mngxitama is seen delivering a speech at a BLF rally in the North West, where he calls on supporters to get ready to kill for the land.
Mngxitama can be heard saying: “We will kill the whites; we kill the children, we kill the woman, we kill their dogs and cats, we kill anything that comes to us.”
The petition, which has over 10,000 signatures, accuses Mngixitama of fueling hate speech and calls on the South African Human Rights Commission to take legal action against him.
The Siz The World team asked, “Should Mngxitama face the same fate as Renaldo Gouws?”
