It is even worse when one partner’s low sex drive becomes lower.
The fact that your partner isn’t sexually receptive makes it easy to think the worse.
It’s important to have an open discussion about what’s causing the loss of sexual desire.

Sometimes it could be medication people are taking
“There are people that are struggling sexually with intimacy because they are sick. Some people are struggling because the type of sickness that they have, they were given medication that has just done a number on their sexual appetite. They have just fixed something else and cancelled something else.”
People go through a lot of traumas
“Some wives get raped at work and are told you are going to lose your job. People go through different types of traumas. Men also need to stop going to the labour ward, and people never talk about what happens after men see their wives in labour.
We need a break from our stressful lives
“We live very stressful lives, our lives are very stressful. As a a result people’s sexual drive is drained. By the time they have to connect with their spouse, there is just so much demanded from them, things like school fee, homework, debt affect your sex drive.
The Zwane gave insight on ways to for couples to find their way back to a happy place where both parties’ needs.
