When it comes to any great relationship, there are things that one party may do that are considered deal-breakers.

This is something that would cause a person to abandon a plan, mutual arrangement, agreement, or relationship.

Continuous communication and compromise from both parties are necessary to maintain a good connection during the course of the relationship.

By outlining your expectations, limitations, and deal breakers up front, you can set your relationship off to a healthy start.

“You can have a value system without deal-breakers, let me ask this question, what’s the difference when someone is playing a game not to lose, and someone who plays to win? ”

Common deal-breakers in many relationships include physical/verbal/emotional abuse, cheating, substance abuse, wanting / not wanting children, different saving/spending habits, and different social, political, and religious beliefs.
