‘We don’t know who is behind the hijacking of buildings
Lesufi gave reasons why it was important to establish the inquiry, citing the need for a competent body that would come to the bottom of the issues.
‘As the government, we don’t have a clue of who is behind the hijacking of buildings, how many buildings have been hijacked, and since when they have been hijacked, what is the modus Operandi, which institutions are being utilized to change ownership, who previously owned and why have they left their own buildings, hence there’s been lack of payment of services. That is why you need a competent body to collate that information.” said Lesufi
