Your single friends deserve your concern, but sometime you need to be a little cautious with how you handle their break up.
Understandably you are merely attempting to assist! You may even have a solid life-long relationship knowledge to provide!
Sometimes you just need to bite your tongue, instead rather be a good listener.
Keep in mind that life is a long game. If you treat single friends properly, they’ll be here when you suddenly need their advice on how to be single after a divorce.
Next time you’re inclined to counsel your single friends, resist the urge because you might think you’re empathizing, but your friend might just take offense at your intrusive comments.
