Now that December is here, we all know what that means; tis’ the season to be festive!
As the holiday and festive season approaches, this time bares stress like no other. From experiencing year-end blues and burnouts to dealing with Christmas shopping and preparations, is overwhelming, to say the least.
Oh and let’s not forget about the relatives who love being problematic and in turn spoiling the Christmas lunch or festive season for everyone else.
On Feel Good with Andy Maqondwana, Andy asks listeners about the rules they will be imposing as Christmas hosts.
In a voice note, one listener says: “Christmas is at my house this year and the rules are… please bring your manners!”
He continues by emphasizing that relatives should also not ask about his love life.
Another listener gives Andy three of her most important rules that she will be imposing on her guests for Christmas.
“Rule no.1 There will be no alcohol! Not because I don’t indulge, but because my mom will be present. Rule no.2 There’s no sleeping over and Rule no. 3 Just because there’s no alcohol doesn’t mean we won’t have fun!”
