This Tuesday, The Best T in the City with Tbose is celebrating its third anniversary with resident spiritual medium Tebogo Mfete.
Mfete, who joins the show once a month to give listeners spiritual readings, has become a fan favourite.
Born and raised in Mabopane north of Tshwane, Tebogo grew up as an ordinary boy with dreams to help people. At the time, little did he know that he was born and blessed with the gifts that allow him direct access to and connection with those in the afterlife.
Tebogo discovered that he inherited his spiritual gift from his late mother at age 24. He says three years with Kaya 959 mean a lot to him.
“I am excited to be celebrating this anniversary with Kaya 959.”
Tebgogo is also grateful for the opportunity to touch people’s lives with his gift.
“There is a lot of positivity that has come with this. It gives me so much joy to be able to help people. It is not easy to do what I do. It’s a gift from the ancestors, but, listening to them and letting them guide me is what has kept me going.”
He is happy with his journey with Kaya 959 thus far and hopes it continues to grow.
“Judging by the feedback we get, I think we have achieved what we wanted to achieve. Being here has made me strong and I have grown as a spiritual person.”
Most importantly. Tebego expresses his gratitude to the Kaya listener.
“The feedback I get from them has always been positive. It has been the best three years and hopefully, many more to come,” he said.
